HAWARDEN AREA ARTS COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
To encourage continued interest and participation in the visual and performing arts, the Hawarden Area Arts Council will award two, one hundred dollar scholarships to a graduating West Sioux Community High School student who has participated in the arts during his/her high school career and who displays a commitment to future contribution to the arts.
The amount of one hundred dollars will be paid to the scholarship recipients at the beginning of the second semester of a four (or more) year course of study or after completion of one-half of a course of study of shorter durations. This scholarship will be issued upon the Arts council's receipt of the student's college transcript indicating at least a 2.0 GPA.
To be considered, applications must be completed and submitted to the Hawarden Area Arts by the deadline established by the west Sioux Counselor. All applications will be reviewed by the H.A.A.C. Scholarship Selection Committee, and their decision will be final.
