Dana Weerheim Nominated for McDonald's Team

Congratulations! On behalf of McDonald’s, it is my pleasure to officially inform you that Dana Weerheim, senior, at West Sioux has been nominated for the 2012 McDonald’s All American High School Basketball Games. “On behalf of McDonald’s and the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee, I, Douglas Freeland, Director of McDonald’s All American Games of McDonald’s USA, congratulate you, Dana, and West Sioux School on this achievement.”
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the McDonald’s All American Games. From the field of nominees, 24 male and 24 female athletes will be chosen to compete in the 2012 McDonald’s All American Games in Chicago.
The final players for the 2012 McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on February 9, 2012.
The Boys Game will tip-off on Wednesday, March 28, at 8:30 pm, with the Girls Game tipping-off at 6 pm on the same day.
Proceeds from the Games will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. RMHC’s three core programs include the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile—extending the reach of the Charity to directly improve the health and well-being of children globally.
