The West Sioux Guidance Department has a full array of school catalogs, scholarship listings, and an excellent computer program "I Have a Plan", a program that has all of the pertinent information you might want to know on every college in the U.S.; and a scholarship search offering over 5000 national scholarships. To receive "Choices Planner" at your home computer, type in www.ihaveaplaniowa.gov. I Have a Plan also has free ACT and SAT test preparation tools. All scholarships received throughout the year are mentioned during daily school announcements and the applications are available from the Guidance Office.

The following local scholarships are available to graduating seniors who are continuing their education beyond high school. Applications forms are available on the West Sioux web page (www.westsiouxschools.org) All applications have a deadline of April 1, 2012.
