CASE Class

Miss. Beitelspacher teaches CASE class at West Sioux High School.  CASE stands for Career and Self Exploration. Seniors and Juniors taking this class are to examine themselves and determine their strengths and areas of interests.  The students take this class for one semester.  Using this information student’s look at career choices for their future.  When the students decide on a career that interests all kinds of job opportunities.  The case class works at Falcon Joe's which is located by the middle school commons.  Mrs. Mary Johnson is a person who assists the students who work at Falcon Joe's. They learn customer courtesy, how to make coffee, and all other duties related to the Coffee Shop.  The specialty coffees available are, Milky Way, Mudslides, and they also have strawberry smoothies.  The students need to arrive at Falcon Joe's by 7:30 a.m. and they work until 8:00 a.m. so that they can go to class.  If they don’t show up or show up late it affects their grade.  This class teaches you job ethics along with the responsibilities that comes with having a job.
