Foods And Nutrition

This course is intended to provide students with information that will be useful when they are working in the kitchen. Emphasis will be placed on nutrition for everyday life, kitchen safety, and kitchen equipment. Students will read and convert recipes for use in a variety of labs: quick breads, pies, grains and pastas, fruits, vegetables, and cookies.
