Veterans Day program

Seventh grade middle school honored the veterans for Veterans Day on November 9 in the high school gym. Students wrote papers about what freedom means to them and a few of them were chosen to read theirs at the program. Video editing class created a power point for the celebration and Mr. John Milroy, veteran, presented a power point. Middle school band played a few selections. Following the program in the gym, the students all had a chance to sit down and talk to some of the veterans and enjoy coffee, juice, and treats. Mrs. Janna Kingma, seventh grade social studies teacher, organized the salute to our veterans.
