LLOYD RICHARD BALL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

 

         The Lloyd Richard Ball Scholarship Fund, given by the Associated Church of Hawarden, Iowa, is awarded annually to a student graduating from West Sioux Community High School who demonstrates outstanding academic and leadership abilities.

 

         The award is made to a student who meets the following requirements:

 

1. Can demonstrate that they have been accepted at an accredited post high school educational institution.

 

2. Can demonstrate financial need.

 

3.  Can demonstrate commendable achievement during high school and a commitment to higher education.

 

         Preference will be given to qualified students who have or have had an affiliation with the Associated Church of Hawarden, Iowa.  Preference will also be given to students pursuing a career in law, political science, or the ministry.  All candidates, however, will be given equal consideration.  Students who are not affiliated with the Associated Church or do not plan careers in law, political science or ministry are encouraged to apply.
